His first introduction to Hip Hop was Jurassic 5's 'Jayou'. The production of Cut Chemist and Nu-Mark underneath the tight rhyme schemes of Chali 2Na, Mark 7even, Akil, and Zaakir had him hooked. Producing from an early age on an archaic version of Cakewalk installed from a floppy disc, Imperial coupled production skills with a growning love for turntables, samples, and breaks and he has been producing Hip Hop ever since.
