KWR Remixed for Barnabas Fund

Sounds Like Dsipl representing Change The Tape, has put his touches on 10 of Krosswerdz Recordings' (KWR) favourite tracks for your remix listening pleasure.

All proceeds from this project will go to the Barnabas Fund.  The main function of Barnabas Fund is to send financial support to projects which help Christians where they suffer discrimination, oppression and persecution as a consequence of their faith.

KWR says about this album:

"These samples were recorded using ancient Mongolian techniques of sound manipulation and capturing. In order to find the kick and snare sounds he travelled to a distant land where baboon like creatures mimic iron age war noises lost in time.  The hi-hats are sound images belonging to dripping taps in tundra shacks.  The bass line....well, it's best we dont talk about the bass lines again.  The mixing was performed by passing the sounds through soft edged vines in the amazon.  Enjoy!"

Most of the original tracks are also available for free on the KWR Bandcamp.
